Chivenor Caravan Park

(Our touring field is open from 15 March 2008 to 15th January, 2009)

Your touring caravan or tent is pitched on a level site with electric hook-up available.  The toilet/shower block is centrally located with frees showers, toilets, hot and cold water.   A dish-washing room, and chemical disposal point is also incorporated in this area.

Our prices are based on up to four people per pitch per night.

Arrival day is at your convenience, although we would recommend phoning to check availability. 

We offer - 7 nights for the price of 6 (if fully paid up prior to arrival)

• A non-refundable deposit of £20.00 per week is required.
• If booking total is less than £40, then full payment is required when booking
• Tthere is no charge for children under the age of five
• Price includes one car per pitch

Please note - The electricity supply to our electric hookups is 240 volts : 50hz at 16 amps.

Booking of pitches - a booking is confirmed on receipt of a deposit or the total cost of the holiday.   A confirmation of your booking will be sent by post on receipt of a deposit or total payment.   Payment is required within seven days of the booking.

We believe that our pitch sizes are quite reasonable and they do vary in size, but we would ask that you phone to check that your tent will fit comfortably on our pitches.

On our park you will find the following -

• Small on site shop
• Free hot showers
• Free hot water for dish-washing etc
• Ice-pack freezing (20p per pack)
• Calor Gas exchange service
• Mobile phone battery charging (small charge)
• Chemical disposal point
• Notice board containing information about the site
• Laundry room - comprising 2 washing machines and 2 dryers plus ironing facilities

• All new arrivals must report to the Reception/Shop, and no caravan or tent is to be sited until booked in.
• Occupation of pitches is from 2pm.   If arriving after 7pm please notify us when booking.   No pitching is permitted after 9pm during high season.
• Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.   Part-day charges can be arranged (if the pitch is available).
• Bank holiday bookings are a minimum of three nights.
• Dogs are welcome on the site.   However we do not have a dog walking area on the park and would request that all dogs are exercised off the park.    They must be kept on a lead at all times, and never left unattended at any time.   Owners are responsible for clearing up any fouling that takes place on the park.
• The play area is for use by children holidaying on the site between the ages of 5 and 12.   This area is unsupervised, so please ensure that all children with you are supervised at all times.
• Please do not allow children to play in or around the shower block.
• Single sex parties are welcome, (no stag or hen parties) subject to the discretion of the owners.
• Ball games, ie football, tennis and cricket are not permitted on the park when it is full.
• The speed limit of 5 mph must be adhered to whilst on site.
• No refunds will be made for cancellations or early departures.   The deposit will be forfeited if the holiday is cancelled.      In the event of a cancellation please let us know as soon as possible and we will attempt to relet the pitch, and return monies minus the deposit plus £15.00 for administration costs.    If we are unable to relet the pitch then all monies will be forfeited.   We recommend that you take out Holiday Insurance.
• Transit vans and similar, plus large towing vehicles are only allowed on the park subject to the discretion of the Management.
• Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under the age of 18.
• If it is necessary for the owners to evict any parties, no refunds will be payable.
• The pitch is let for the number of people and cars and other equipment listed on the booking form.   The owners must be informed of any proposed alterations to the original booking form 14 days before arrival.
• In the interests of other on the park, excessive noise should be kept to a minimum after 10:30pm.   If any disturbances are caused, offending parties will be asked to leave the park immediately with no refunds.
