This is a 180 mile recreational route of farmland, moorland and rugged

the Otter'. The trail follows cycleways, footpaths and quiet country
lanes. Parts of it can be cycled or walked (or both, so bring your
bikes and walking boots! Bicycles can be hired from various
locations along the route and in Braunton. The park is also ideally placed to visit the Unesco World Biosphere Reserve
at Braunton Burrows. This area is the first of its type in the
country, and covers 6km along the shore and 2km inland. The Burrows
is renowned for its diversity and abundance of plants. In this area
is the Great Field of Braunton Marsh which is an example of medieval open field
farming. The 142ha was originally farmed communally in unfenced
strips. If you want to travel a little further afield - how about Lundy Island.
This is an island of outstanding natural beauty about 11 miles off the coast of
North Devon. The MS Oldenburg takes both day and staying visitors
from both Bideford and Ilfracombe. If all this is too energetic for you, then come and just relax on our holiday
park, and soak up the atmosphere in one of the many country pubs; two of which
